Hi, I'm Josie, an understanding and approachable Integrative Counsellor based in Herne Bay, working in Birchington, Kent and Online..

I knew I wanted to be a Counsellor in my early 20's, but I wasn't sure if the time was right..

Fast forward to now, in my early 30's, with many life experiences later and having worked in a variety of relational roles, I am now a fully qualified therapist. I have experience supporting adults in areas such as grief, loss, anxiety, life changes, neurodiversity and more.

Previous to counselling, I have a background of working in various paid and voluntary roles, such as:

⚪ Managing a befriending project (supporting adults experiencing loneliness and isolation) 

⚪ Working with neurodivergent children, young people and adults (a diagnosis of autism, ADHD & more)

 

Aside from being a Counsellor, I am a nature lover who loves a local beach walk or sunset and a good cup of tea.
